Bachelors in Sciences

UET Lahore offers four-year Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Science (BS) programs across multiple departments. These programs are accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), ensuring they meet national and international quality standards. The curriculum is structured to build a strong foundation in engineering theory, mathematics, and applied sciences in the early years, progressively moving toward specialized technical knowledge, laboratory work, design projects, and industry exposure in the later semesters. Students are required to complete a final-year project that addresses a real engineering problem, encouraging innovation and independent thinking. Throughout the program, emphasis is placed on developing analytical reasoning, teamwork, communication skills, and professional ethics. Master

UET Lahore offers a range of postgraduate master's programs across multiple departments, catering to engineers and scientists who wish to deepen their expertise, pursue specialized research, or advance their professional standing. Programs are accredited by PEC and NCEAC where applicable, ensuring they conform to recognized quality benchmarks at the postgraduate level. Programs are available in both coursework-based and thesis-based modes, allowing students to choose a path aligned with their career goals. The coursework mode is suited to professionals seeking structured learning and advanced technical knowledge in a specific domain, while the thesis mode is designed for those who wish to engage in original research under the supervision of experienced faculty. The curriculum at the master's level introduces students to the latest developments in their respective fields, advanced methodologies, research tools, and critical analysis techniques. Students in the thesis track are expected to produce a research dissertation that makes a meaningful contribution to knowledge and is suitable for publication in recognized academic journals. Ph.D

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is the highest academic degree offered at UET Lahore and is available across multiple departments in engineering and applied sciences. It is a research-intensive program designed for individuals who wish to make an original and significant contribution to knowledge in their chosen field. The program typically spans three to five years depending on the nature and scope of the research undertaken. Each PhD student works under the close supervision of one or more faculty members who are active researchers in the relevant discipline. The doctoral journey involves an extensive review of existing literature, the development of a novel research question, the design and execution of experiments or studies, and the analysis and interpretation of results. Candidates are required to publish their research findings in HEC-recognized, peer-reviewed journals and to present their work at national and international academic conferences. The program concludes with the submission and defense of a doctoral dissertation before an evaluation committee. UET Lahore encourages interdisciplinary research and maintains active collaborations with national and international universities, research centers, and industry partners, providing PhD students with opportunities for exposure beyond the campus. Associate Diploma Program

The Associate Degree Program (ADP) at UET Lahore is a two-year undergraduate qualification offered across multiple disciplines. It is designed primarily for students who have completed a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) and wish to formalize and expand their technical education within a university framework. The program bridges the gap between vocational training and full degree-level education by introducing students to engineering fundamentals, applied sciences, and discipline-specific coursework at the undergraduate level. The curriculum is carefully structured to recognize the practical background that DAE students bring while strengthening their theoretical and analytical capabilities. Students who successfully complete the ADP and meet the required academic merit may be considered for lateral entry into the third year of a relevant Bachelor of Engineering program, allowing them to continue toward a full degree without repeating foundational coursework. The ADP thus serves as both a standalone qualification and a stepping stone for further academic advancement within the university system.
